  • Read

“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” - Margaret Fuller

Although my preference is books, there’s more to investigate. You’ll find an interesting collection of articles on Pocket. The length of the write-ups varies as well as the topics. You’ll uncover tasty recipes too. Another option is newspapers. Courtesy of your local library, you can browse them online. Finally, check out blogs. Google the topic that snags your attention. You’ll be reading for days. The Internet is chock full of good information.

  • Detox

“The greatest pollution problem we face today is negativity.” - Mary Kay Ash

Eliminate anything that pollutes your physical, mental, or spiritual health. A regular purge like a regular poop is crucial to your well being.

  • Rest

” True silence is the rest of the mind and is to the spirit what sleep is to the body, nourishment and refreshment.” - William Penn

Press the pause button. Think about the last time you gave your mind a break. At the same time, some swear they don’t require sleep. If you fall into this category, try resting. You'll discover the difference.

  • Thrive

“We thrive not when we’ve done it all, but when we still have more to do.” – Sarah Lewis

Your passion should keep you busy for the next 20 or 30 years. If you don't have one it's time to find it. Need some help? Download 40 self-discovery questions:

  • Be Thankful.

“Gratitude means to recognize the good in your life, be thankful for whatever you have, some people may not even have one of those things you consider precious to you (love, family, friends etc). Each day give thanks for the gift of life. You are blessed” – Pablo

Start each day counting your blessings. Instead of complaining about what’s wrong, consider what’s right. Shift your thinking.

  • Witness

“I look upon all the world as my parish.” John Wesley

As a Christian, you have the responsibility of sharing Jesus with others. In fact, you have a larger pulpit. Proverbs says, He who wins souls is wise.

  • Teach
