Living by faith requires a relentless and aggressive stance. These ideas will help you fight the good fight in every situation; when the going gets tough, the tough get tougher. You can win.

50 Ways

1. Remember your relationship with God.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

2. Remember your friendship with Jesus.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” (John 15:13-14)

3. Remember your partnership with the Holy Spirt. “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine and shall shew it unto you.” (John 16:13-14)

4. Read the Word every day.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119:105)

5. Meditate on Bible scriptures.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

6. Listen to sermons on faith.

“So then faith come by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

7. Saturate yourself in teachings on faith.

8. Join a faith-based church.

You will have what you say in your life, and you will have what you preach in your church.

9. Start a faith journal.

“Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.” (Revelation 1:19)

10. Pray in faith.

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:23)

11. Remember that Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2)

12. Have faith in God.

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)

13. Witness.

“And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

14. Watch your words.

“He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.” (Proverbs 13:3)

15. Renew your mind.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2)

16. Admit that you can do nothing without God.

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5)

17. Seek Him in everything you do.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)

18. Study the ministry of Jesus.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)

19. Speak faith.

“And these are they which are sown on good ground, such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirty-fold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” (Mark 4:20)

20. Realize that faith and fear work the same way.

Whatever you keep hearing, thinking, or speaking is what you will have.

21. Get out of the way.

"He must increase, but I must decrease." (John 3:30)

22. Walk in love.

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour. (Ephesians 5:2)

23. Pray in the Spirit.

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ephesians 6:18)

24. Count your blessings.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, (Psalm 103:2)

25. Avoid strife and confusion.

“For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.” (James 3:16)

26. Teach others.

“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.” (Proverbs 9:9)

27. Think solutions instead of problems.

“He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.” (Proverbs 13:3)

28. Tithe.

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” (Malachi 3:10)

29. Give.

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” (Luke 6:38)

30. Forgive.

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But it you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” (Mark 11:25-26)

31. Instead of telling it liking it is, tell it the way you want it to be.

“As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. (Romans 4:17)

32. Believe you have it- before you have it, to get it.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

33. Do not be moved by what you see, hear, or feel.

“for we walk by faith, not by sight:) (2 Corinthians 5:7)

34. Connect with a faith partner.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9)

35. Get a prayer partner.

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:19)

36. Acknowledge that God is your source.

“But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” (1 Corinthians 8:6)

37. Repent.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

38. Understand that nothing happens without faith.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

39. Use your faith for others.

“In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; (Ephesians 6:16)

40. Examine your associations.

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” (Psalm 1:1)

41. Develop bulldog faith.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

42. Do not bend to the pressure of time.

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (2 Peter 3:8)

43. Remain obedient.

“If you be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: (Isaiah 1:19)

44. Be versed in the Will of God.

“Wherefore be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:17)

45. Recognize that God’s love is unconditional, but blessings are conditional.

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come one thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.” (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)

46. Always strive to give God your best.

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24)

47. Refuse to be deceived by Satan.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (I Peter 5:8)

48. Determine to know God’s voice.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” (John 10:27)

49. Never forget that you are not alone.

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)

50. Receive when you pray.

"Therefore, I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)
